A smile when you’re happy,
But don’t know what to say
A frown when you’re upset
And you don’t want to talk
A kind gesture
To show you love them
And a scowl
To show your disgust
So why try to speak?
Words can make people up,
But they have the power
They can dictate
Who gets knocked down
So I can see now
Through this gentle
But cruel language
We really do say it best
When we say nothing at all
